Geezerz @ Sonic Lab

Some music by me and Grant Buckerfield from "97-99 FM" Grant and I produced a lot of music for TV, radio and film at the Sonic Lab in Bristol up until about 2002, while the staple work was producing material for BBC Radio1 we made a few more musical pieces. Some big team efforts on these next two tracks.

"Dig?"

A groovy mellow track, a cut of which was Chis Moyles' main radio 'talkbed' on radio one a few summers ago so got loads of daytime national radio play in the UK:) It's a complete samplefest and is typical of music by Grant and I did around that time. It started life as the wobbly bassline played on the moog by Grant. Additional parts by Paul Wyatt and Sarah Class.

"Bird"

Surf maddness. Cutup frenzy at a high tempo with a rock'n'roll/surf theme. Loads of 50s and 60s samples thrown into the mix. Wierd vocoders, and vocal processing. Guitar heroics from Paul Wyatt. Organ genius Colin Smith plays. with scratching on a record of bird calls. This was on telly for something (??).

Transwarp Development Project

Heavily influenced by Eat Static and using lots of analog gear on stage so it was always an interesting show, that was Transwarp Development Project, a proper part of the Bristol techno underground in the late 90s. A couple of clips (not full tracks) here so you can hear what that was all about.

"Superconductor"

Andy Tukes awesome wavestation programming skills are apparent in this full-on hard trance .

"Fission"

Subtle sounds at high volume on a club system == vgood, the intro from this apocalyptic darkcore drum and bass tune used to make people freak at the Depot in Bristol.
