Workshops and Lectures

Course material and information about past and current lectures on DSP, sound design and Pure Data lives here. For short one or two day workshops we go for a general overview with a practical session so that everyone goes away immediately able to begin using Puredata to produce sound. This is suitable for absolute beginners. As a longer course for more experienced students there's more synthesis/DSP theory, and a structured approach to design with emphasis on SFX and music development. The full course I teach is synthetic, procedural and behavioural sound design for games and interactive applications.

Here's a list of units and examples used as a base: Units List and requirements.
